It is essential to develop the linkages in the value chain to make the farming, processing and trade more profitable for all the players. |
| Keeping these in view, Foundation for Organic Agriculture and Rural Development together with National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NBARD); organizing the 4th edition of the India International Food and Agri Expo 2011 (IIFAE 2011) from November 26th to 28th at Gokulam Convention Centre, Cochin (India). The 3 days exhibition and workshops will focus on technical upgradation, organic agriculture, organic animal husbandry, organic aquaculture, organic Spices, organic coconut based farming systems, farm mechanisation, quality assurance, value additions and market linkages. There will be a special emphasis on organic spice products, medicinal plants, farm mechanization, green house technology, food processing technology, animal husbandry, organic certification, good agricultural practices (GAP), UTZ Certified Coffee / Tea. |
| IIFAE - 2011 will provide a platform for individual producers, small farmer groups, processors and traders to develop forward and backward linkages, both nationally and internationally. With this in mind, the state-of-the-art technology, new concepts and innovations, organic products, UTZ certified coffee and tea, farm equipments / machineries in food and agricultural sector will be displayed at the exhibition. In addition to this, there will be technical seminars, B2B meet & discussions involving international expertise during the three days of the event. |
